We love star filters and flares. Who doesn't really? Heathens we guess. For this little photography project, we were inspired by the old and wonderfully weird Nishika N8000, a 3D film camera from the 1980s that takes 4 photos from slightly different angles at the same time. (Gabrielle swears her sister had a similar camera that came with a service that would turn the pictures into a holographic photo. The 80s and 90s were weird and amazing.) Our photos were achieved with one camera taking one photo at a time, but with a camera move more at home in the motion picture world. An extremely fast shutter speed and strobes do the trick nicely, creating crispy stills and fun GIFs.
